
Our Water Management Learning Resources are developed to provide municipalities and industry leaders across multiple resource management professions, with working knowledge of water management policy and resource management tools in Alberta. This learning will help municipal and corporate professionals to participate in watershed management, water resource management, and conservation planning. Participants also learn skills for identifying and engaging stakeholders in the planning process, developing a community based social marketing plan, and applying risk management approaches to water management.

Managing Watersheds in Alberta - Full & Half Day Workshops with an introduction to the shared governance models of Water for Life, including a detailed overview of watershed planning and advisory councils (WPACs) and watershed planning.
Water Conservation and Efficiency Planning - Half Day Workshops on developing a Community Conservation and Efficiency Plan based on Provincial Guidelines. Multiple Case Studies and Initiatives Examined!
These half-day sessions with Sustainability Professionals (subject matter experts) are delivered in a workshop setting with decision-makers from cross-sectors. These are a great way to increase knowledge and network with fellow community leaders!
