2 Day PM Certificate Course

Visualizing Objectives, Deliverables, Activities and Schedules

The best way to effectively manage and communicate project scope, motivate teams, mitigate conflicts, negotiate for additional resources, manage stakeholders needs, wants and expectations and manage risk is to help the project stakeholders (sponsor, decision makers, clients, citizens, suppliers, etc) visualize the sum of the products, services and results, at the front end of the project.

About the Workshop

This two-day certificate course in project management covers the front-end of the project planning processes, takes participants through a complete project definition and planning cycle, and looks at the implementation and control cycle. Creating project charters, deliverable work breakdown structures, sequencing and scheduling methods are covered in detail. Other areas covered include aspects of risk identification, risk mitigation, and stakeholder analysis.

SKILLS: At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will have the confidence and the skills to prepare and present a Project Charter, and to use the most important project planning tools to define and organize their projects. In addition, they will be able to clearly communicate their project and project needs to upper management and decision makers. Participants will have the tools necessary to seek the required approvals and to control the project in its implementation phase. Participants find that most tools and techniques learned can be applied in their workplace the very next day!
