What is Crowdsourcing?
The Idea: The world needs BIG ideas. It also needs bite-sized ideas that are easy to understand and support. More than ever, consumers, corporations, citizens and donors are attracted to providing input into the projects, brands and communities that they feel a part of. They expect to be able to make a direct and visible impact on things that matter personally to them. Our community partner, Urban Resilience, believes there is a way to get the crowd involved that encourages more people to participate than just the most vocal.
The Platform: Our community & civic engagement partner Urban Resilience has developed a Community Systems Framework that is designed to enable a robust systems approach to stakeholder, citizen and/or donor engagement.
The Crowd:Start a new project, set a new direction, plant an idea seed, fund an initiative or spark social change: Urban Resilience can make it simple for organizations to channel the wisdom of crowds into productive ideas or change that matters.
